3 Tips to Invite Clarity & Tranquility with Essential Oils

Aroma acupoint therapy is the art of skillfully applying essential oils onto specific meridians of the body. Utilizing the energetics that plants provide makes for a truly creative and revitalizing experience. Next time you find yourself in a quiet space, give these a try.

Bergamot:

Apply to the shenmen point on the ear to unite the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Here bergamot will assist in evening the flow of energy in the nervous system. Supportive for creating a calm and balanced state of mind.

Atlas Cedar:

When placed on kidney-3, this oil will stabilize anxious tendencies by encouraging energy downwards, thus grounding you.

Blue Tansy: Have someone assist you in pressing this oil into the bladder-17 point of your back. Blue tansy is cooling and soothing to emotions and opening for the lungs. Breathe in deeply this sweet, harmonious essential oil.

As a general rule of thumb, essential oils should never be applied directly to the skin. Dilute these oils to roughly a 10% dilution, or about 45 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil. When applying these oils, press them lightly into each point for a minimum of one minute.
